This is the general perception of researchers’ and R&D departments’ work.

Contemporary Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) transforms this process into systematic and algorithmic approach for producing sustainable successful outcomes. Companies that use TRIZ methodology have shown impressive results in developing innovative, patentable solutions, and reducing them to practice in a very short time.

There is a keen interest in the TRIZ methodology in the world; leading world corporations are deploying the method intensively.

Hence there is a need to publish a comprehensive textbook on state-of-the-art TRIZ methodology, consistent with the requirements and teaching standards of The International TRIZ Association (MA TRIZ). Readers and certification seminar participants can learn about contemporary TRIZ and its effective practical application.

This textbook for Level 1 certification by the International TRIZ Association (MA TRIZ), in line with the current requirements of MA TRIZ, is the result of the work of a group of Theory of Inventive Problem-Solving (TRIZ) specialists from various fields. These people work in the implementation of innovative projects in accordance with Pragmatic Innovation methodology based on modern TRIZ. Long-term joint activities in the field of innovation have led to impressive results in North and South America, Asia, and Europe.

The team has trained thousands of specialists in various training courses, from basic methodology training to implementation of TRIZ methodology, aimed at improving innovation in companies. The courses and workshops conducted by the authors are based on the valuable experience they gained while working on consulting projects for companies such as Samsung, Hyundai, Intel, Procter & Gamble, General Motors, and many others.
